Brazil has the highest offshore wind capacity in the world, with a total pipeline capacity of 135,723 MW but as of 2023, no projects have entered the construction stage.
* The majority of solar projects in Brazil have a capacity of over 20MW. Only 2% of the operational projects have a capacity ranging from 1MW to 20MW. Meanwhile, less than 1% of the projects currently under construction fall under this range. Almost 5% of the announced solar projects in Brazil have a capacity between 1MW and 20MW.
